Before Waxing
- Skip the lotion before and after your wax.
- Let your hair grow. Don’t book a waxing appointment until you haven’t waxed for at least one to two weeks. Ideally, you should have 1/4 inch (635 cm) of hair in the area you want to wax. Waxing will be more painless and effective if you wait long enough to wax.
- Tell us about any allergies or skin spots before making an appointment.
- Wear loose, comfortable clothing to the appointment. Don’t wear skinny jeans or tight fabrics to your appointment. After your skin has been waxed, you’ll want soft and comfortable clothing. Wear soft, loose clothing to avoid irritating your skin after the appointment.
- THE BIKINI AREA ?
Whether you prefer a Brazilian wax, LA wax or regular bikini, keep skin in the bikini area scrupulously clean. Waxing can leave skin vulnerable to infection, and areas of the body that are normally warm and damp are more prone to bacterial growth.
Waxing After Care

- Avoid scratching or touching the treated area with unwashe hands.

Waxing FAQ
- Does it hurt when you get your eyebrows waxed?
Yes, but it is only momentary. It also depends on how much hair is being removed and how thick it is. - What should I do after waxing?
After your waxing appointment, keep the area clean, don’t shave stray hairs, and exfoliate regularly. - Can I get a bikini wax while I’m on my period?
Waxing salons would probably not allow that. Just wait until your period finishes. - How much does waxing hurt?
It feels quite painful but only for a split second. It shouldn’t really bother you once you rip the strip off.
