• Wash you hair 1-2 days before. Hair should not be excessively dirty, sweaty or oily. Dirty hair does not “grab color better”.
• Be prepared! Have a few realistic options for your hair goal. We can help get you there but everyone’s terminology for explaining color is totally different so photos help us see eye to eye.
• Do an in-depth consultation with our stylist and indicate the color you want. It is necessary to know that every sample photo you want cannot be 100% the same because each hair type is different, the history of hair is different and the strength of the hair is also different. but don’t worry we will try to give you amazing results.
• Fresh hair will give more even results, better gray coverage and longevity of color. Excessively oily hair or days and days of dry
  shampoo will lift SLOWER (there’s an extra layer to penetrate).
• Pack a snack! ameline beauty provides beverages but color appointments last anywhere from three hours to up to five – ish
  hours. We can feel the tension when you are getting hungry.
• Don’t wear your favorite piece of clothing/jewelry! Between foils, root touch ups, shampoo bowls and multiples toners things could get messy!.
• Factor in at home hair care to your salon visit budget. We do our part to make your hair look amazing but as soon as you walk out the door it’s your responsibility to maintain your investment! Salon quality Shampoo and haircare is a MUST.

Hair Coloring After Care

• Wait For Three Days Before You Wash Freshly Colored Hair.
• Use the Shampoo to protect hair Color.
• Use sulfate – free product to wash coloured hair.
• 1 week 2 times doing mask treatment.
• Washing your colored hair often will cause the dye to leach out and the color to fade.
• Do not swimming after hair coloring.
• Protect your hair from the sun, like you would your skin.
• Use Deep Conditioning Treatments To Smoothen And Add Luster To Colored Hair.
• Try to opt for cool or lukewarm showers as hot water can damage and fade color-treated hair.
• Turn down temperature of the hairdryer, straight iron and curly iron.

Hair Coloring FAQ

• How long does the hair coloring process take?
  2 hours – 4 hours Depending on the technique used and the type of color desired, this will affect the length of the hair coloring process.

• Can i lighten my hair a couple of levels without bleaching or Stripping the color?
  If you are trying to go from a dark shade color to a light shade of color, you will need to bleach the hair. To lighten the hair, you have to use some type of bleach or peroxide to remove the pigment in the hair. Once the pigment is removed, the hair cuticle lifts allowing the hair color to be absorbed. • How long do i have to wait before re-coloring my hair with a different color?
  This all depends on the condition of your hair. It is best to consult with your hairstylist about your options. If you have damaged hair, it is probably best to wait until your hair is in better condition or until the color grows out. • How soon will i need to come back?

  Oftentimes people think of hair color maintenance as the appointments to get your regrowth touched up, that may not be the first thing that you need to do. Depending on what kind of color you are getting done, some shades last longer than others before they start to fade. If you are looking for light, ashy blondes or pastel/vivid shades then you will need to refresh your color sooner than later. A lot of this is determined by the condition of your hair as well. If you have over porous hair, then your color will likely fade faster than someone who has healthy or virgin hair before coloring. By discussing what the next steps are, and asking when you should come back is important so that you don’t get blindsided by potential fading tones sooner than you expected.

• Is this going to be…Uncomfortable?
  Everyone has different skin, so everyone will have different reactions to chemicals and products. If you already know that you have a skin condition, allergies or sensitivities to certain ingredients, make sure to inform your stylist before your appointment begins. By having this conversation before you have color on your scalp will make sure that products that are best suited to you are used during your appointment.

Before Hair Smoothing Keratin

• Not recommended for bleached hair at least 1 year after the bleaching process is done.
• Discuss with our staff if you’ve already gone through a hair smoothing process before.
• Make sure the hair is not broken or brittle. If the hair is in this condition, we recommend you can take treatment hair repair or hair rescue treatment.

After Care Hair Smoothing Keratin

• Apply hair masks once a while to hydrate and strengthen your hair.
• Do not wet your hair for three days after your hair smoothing treatment.

• Do not use hot water to wash your hair. It may strip off moisture from the strands.

Smoothing Keratin FAQ

• Is keratin smoothing right for me?
  Anyone who struggles with frizzy, curly or difficult to manage hair is a good candidate for a Keratin Smoothing Treatment. It is ideal for anyone looking for a low maintenance hair solution.
• How Long Will It Last?
  Like a perm, keratin smoothing treatments should last about six months, give or take. It really depends on how you care for your hair. Once the treatment is complete, you should avoid washing your hair or getting it set for a couple days to allow the serum to set.
• Should I Choose This Treatment?
